3D Printing

I wanted to let you know that the lab's 3D printers, the Prusas and the Flashforge are now available for printing.

Please keep in mind the following specs when running the Prusa printers:

The total print area of the Prusa Mk3 in the Stamford lab:
x-axis (width): 250mm

y-axis (depth): 210mm

z-axis (height): 210mm

Students need to keep the print well-within that range; the print is more likely to fail if they are close to the border. This also means any brim/support material that will be added to the print also needs to be within that 250x210x210 range.

We should discuss the amount of filament that will be used and the cost associated with it.
If you need further information, please let me or Astik Mehta, the new lab manager know.
